Senior Gaby Schwartz led the Dolphins (13-7-1) with 4 goals and 2 assists. Young moves them into the quarterfinals where it will play the Group G winner at noon Saturday at Lindblom High School.


DuPage Valley Conference

Naperville Central 1, Wheaton North 0

Kayla Burke's second half goal off a Julia Irle assist earned the win for the Redhawks (11-4-4, 4-1-2). Kinzly Dressler made 2 saves for the shutout.


Neuqua Valley 8, Lake Park 0
The Wildcats got big performances from Haley Singer (2 goals, 2 assists), Alyssa Bombacino (2 goals) and Madison Zaleski (goal/assist). Nicole Mondi, Alison Dovalovsky and Markia Algrem added goals and Shannon Tagler an assist for Neuqua (6-7-1, 3-3-0). Kasey Gillespie made 1 save in 61 minutes of work for the shutout.


Southwest Prairie Conference

Plainfield North 7, Romeoville 0

Megan Breier had 2 goals and an assist, and Jessica Christmas and Molly Grant each scored a pair as the Tigers rolled. Mackenna Woodill added a goal, and Sam Elster, Kendyl Keay and Megan Pertile an assist apiece. Emma Veselsky and Erin Kuyawa split the shutout.


Upstate Eight Conference
River Division

St. Charles East 9, Streamwood 0

Yasmine Resendiz made 18 saves for the Sabres.



West Suburban Conference
Gold Division

Downers Grove South 5, Willowbrook 2

The Mustangs (13-5-0, 5-0-0) clinched a share of the league title with the win. Lauren Travis (3) and Autumn Rasmussen scored all of Downers Grove South's goals. Valentia Poggi and Zoe Ericson converted for Willowbrook (11-5-3, 4-2-0).

Lake Forest 4, Grant 0
Delaney Williams had a goal and an assist to lead the Scouts in the North Suburban Conference Lake Division cross-over game. Sheridan Bufe, Jenny McKendry and Christina Gregg added goals. Kate Reinhardt, Dimi Schweitzer and Gwen Walker provided assists.
