Neuqua Valley 5, Glenbard East 0

The Wildcats built a 3-0 halftime lead and coasted to their fifth-straight win and seventh in their last eight matches. Daniel Costea scored on a PK 4:34 into the game, and T.J. Fenton (Parker Domschke assist) and Michael Klecka (Edon Kosova) padded the advantage before the break. Jose Navarro had a goal and an assist in the second half, and Ryan Matthews contributed a score.  Keeper Luke Molnar made six saves in 40 minutes of work for Neuqua Valley (9-4-1). The Wildcats resume action with a nonconference game on the road against South Elgin at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.


Wheaton Academy 3, St. Charles East 1
Logan Finnegan, Jack Kilgallon, and Luke Holwerda scored for the Warriors (11-4-0), who won their fourth match in a row and extended their unbeaten streak to six matches (5-0-1). Wheaton Academy hosts Metro Suburban Conference Blue Division foe Glenbard South at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
