Lyons 6, Proviso West 0
Dylan Jones, Diego Lopez, Jake Funkhouser, Nick Economou, Camilo Drobney and Adrian Valadez scored in the romp for no. 7 Lyons (9-2-1, 2-0-0). The next two games are huge for the Lions: the Silver Brick rivalry game for the conference lead with Hinsdale Central at 7 p.m. at home Friday; and the PepsiCo Showdown final against Libertyville at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at DePaul University's Wish Field.

Nonconference

St. Francis 7, IC Prep 0

Henry Roback and Zach Zygmunt tallied 2 goals and an assist each for the no. 25 Spartans (7-1-2).
Keenan Corrigan, Ethan Grosam, Matthew Martin added goals, and Zach Crescenzo, Nicholas Roehl,  Jacob Power, Alex Bonner and Jack Glynn contributed assists to the cause.
The shutout was shared by St. Francis goalkeepers Jonathan Burke (2 saves), Ryan Scharf (1 save) and Patrick Bagnuolo (1 save).
The Spartans have 8 shutouts in their first 10 games and have allowed only 3 goals.
St. Francis travels to Providence for a Chicago Catholic League South Division game at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
