Big Northern Conference

Genoa-Kingston 7, Winnebago 0
The Cogs upped their records to 12-1-0 overall and 5-0-0 in the conference behind a hat-trick from senior Eagan Reams (two PKs, goal in run of play). Diego Espinoza added a brace and assist, and Jorge Leon also scored twice. Leo Rocha, Jacob Barton and Aiden Tomlinson contributed helpers. 




Fox Valley Conference

Crystal Lake South 4, Cary-Grove 0
Michal Dejworek (goal, two assists) played a roll in each first half score as the Gators cruised to a comfortable halftime lead. Nolan Getzinger scored twice and Tom Coughlin once in the win. Tomas Slawek added a helper, and keeper Logan Vargas made one save for the shutout for Crystal Lake South (8-1-1, 2-0-0). Cary-Grove saw its record drop to 1-3-2, 1-1-0.




Streamwood Fall Classic

St. Charles East 2, Dundee-Crown 0
After a scoreless first half in Elgin, the sixth-ranked Fighting Saints (8-1-0) prevailed behind star Sebastian Carranza's goal and assist. Phil Anton added the insurance goal, and Josh Ruiz aided the opener. Keepers Tyler Benhart (60 minutes, 0 saves) and Jordan Rolon (20, 1) shared the shutout. St. Charles East meets Lake Park for the title at noon Saturday. The game gives the Saints a chance to avenge their only loss of the season. 

Streamwood 1, Burlington Central 1
After a scoreless first half, Trey Yi scored off a Jairo Sanchez assist to keep the Sabres (3-3-2) even with their foes. 




Nonconference

Naperville North 2, West Chicago 1
The Radeke brothers teamed with teammate Alex Barger to propel the no. 4 Huskies past their ninth-ranked foes. Freshman Noah scored off a Barger assist, and senior Cam assisted his junior teammate's game-winner. Naperville North improved to 8-1-2 overall.


York 6, Geneva 0
The no. 11 Dukes improved to 9-1-0 with the win. Joe Hernandez, Jose Herrera and Sam Musial hoarded the goals with a brace apiece. Connor Bare added two assists, as did Herrera who delived one to Musial that lead to a brilliant finish from 20 yards. Not to be outdone, Herrera bagged his second of the night on an impressive run that ended with a near-post laser to beat the keeper. Ricky Torres kept the clean-sheet with help from Kacper Janowski, who played well in the defensive third.
