West Chicago 1, St. Charles East 1 (WC wins PKs 5-4)
The Fighting Saints, ranked 11th in the initial Chicagoland Soccer Top 25 of the season, rallied from a halftime deficit but fell in the shootout. Elia Desario scored on a PK for St. Charles East (3-1-0).


St. Charles North pool

Maine South 1, Wheaton Academy 0

Maine South took the match on a 78th-minute spot kick. Wheaton Academy keeper Declan Finnegan made four saves in the loss.

Glenbard South 6, Aurora Central 0
Sophomore Mitchell Erickson led the Raiders with a brace and assist. Diesel Oleksak added a goal and assist, while Nick Miranda, Esteban Godinez and Ryan Hopkins completed the goal-scoring list. Tres Moore delivered two assists, and David Page and Ness Damania tallied single helpers. Keeper Sean Miller earned the clean-sheet.

Joey Sorce scored the game-winner in the 75th minute for the Dons. Ryan Shanahan collected the first Notre Dame goal off an Ian Martinez assist.
