Six different Blazers participated in the scoring: Christian Garcia, Eduardo Huerta and Melvin Mora had goals; 
Alexis Delapaz, Luis Saucedo and Luis Silva had assists. Jean Avila made 4 saves for his first shutout of the season for 16th-ranked Addison Trail (1-0-1).


Nonconference

St. Charles East 2, Naperville Central 1
No. 17 St. Charles East (1-0-1) scored a big home win over the 14th-ranked Redhawks with second half goals from Brendan Adams (assist Luke Schnitker) and Tyler Villanueva (unassisted). Keeper Zach Kennedy made 4 saves in the win.


Wheaton Academy 9, Timothy Christian 1
The host Warriors won their season opener behind the efforts of Luke Holwerda (2 goals, 2 assists) and Grayson Harris (2 goals). Wheaton Academy, ranked 22nd in Chicagoland Soccer's preseason poll, next hosts Geneva at 2 p.m. Saturday before traveling to Batavia for a 6:30 p.m. game Monday.
