Kara Machala gave the Fighting Saints the first half lead after an assist from Yazmin Martinez. After the break Ella Stehman (Anna Champine) and Madison Flanders (McKenna Gahagan) put away the conference debut for no. 16 St. Charles East (6-2-0, 1-0-0). Nonconference

Deerfield 4, New Trier 1
The no. 21 Warriors traveled to Northfield and upset the 12th-ranked Trevians. New Trier (3-2-2) struck first on a long diagonal ball that sent Elizabeth Marquardt in on a breakaway; she beat Lauren Gottlieb in the 11th minute to make it 1-0. Deerfield (6-0-1) struck back when Aubrey Galvan chased down a loose ball and found Emily Fox at the top of the penalty area. Fox created space with a move and fired a shot home from 18 yards to tie the game in the 24th minute. The Warriors took the lead for good five minutes later when Fox was taken down just outside the penalty area. The sophomore's free kick was saved by Caroline Hague, but Ryane Emory pounced on the rebound and buried it. Fox earned another free kick on the edge of the area in the 51st minute, and she kocked it home for a 3-1 lead.  Riley Schimanski closed out the scoring for Deerfield in the 56th minute when her shot looped over the keeper and under the crossbar.  The senior forward has nine goals on the season and has scored in every game.
