14th annual Parkway College Showcase

Neuqua Valley 2, Incarnate Word (Mo.) 1
Neuqua Valley rallied from a first half deficit to top Incarnate Word 2-1 in St. Louis. Second half goals from Taylor Sparbanie (Dannah Williams assist) and Kiley Czerwinski (Jamie Goralski) helped the Wildcats improve to 3-1-1.



Goalkeeper Hannah Parrish made 4 saves for the winners, who won both of their Showcase games and have a three-game win streak.


The Wildcats open their conference season at 4:30 Tuesday at East Aurora.

Bartlett 2, Hoffman Estates 1
Early second half strikes from Carrigan Sablik and Mariela Alba gave streaking Bartlett a 2-1 come-from-behind victory over host Hoffman Estates. Alba assisted on the opening goal in the 43rd minute and Brooke Bednarke followed suit two minutes later.


Tessa Jatczak had 4 saves for Bartlett. 

The win was the fourth straight for the Hawks (5-2).

Bartlett begins Upstate Eight play when it hosts South Elgin at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at Millennium Field in Streamwood.

Willowbrook 5, Streamwood 1
Alondra Blanco scored for Streamwood in the second minute off a Tawny Carroll assist. Yasmine Resendiz stopped 5 shots the first half, and Nathalie Guindon made 5 saves in the second half for the Sabres (1-3). Streamwood trailed 3-1 at halftime.
