Hersey 2, Palatine 1
The Pirates (2-3-0, 0-1-0) tied the game at 22 minutes when Allie Henning beat the goalie to the ball after a cross from Melanie Simon. However Hersey (4-1-1, 2-0-0) sandwiched the goal with scores from Chloe Sena in the 15th minute and Maddy Kim's game-winner in the 63rd. The Huskies are ranked 24th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25.

Blue Group

St. Charles North 5, Cary-Grove 1

The second-ranked North Stars put the game away with three goals in a five-minute span in the second half. Sami Rydberg and Sarah Andrey scored braces, and Kellie Callaghan delivered three assists in the win. Maddie Rossi scored the final goal, and Bridget Wolf and Sophia Hein provided helpers for St. Charles North (4-0-1).


Orange Group

St. Charles East 3, Burlington Central 1

Hannah Miller and Elle McCaslin scored and assisted on the other's goal en route to the Fighting Saints' eighth-straight victory. Emma Blankenship scored after a Kayla Villa helper. Grace Griffin made five saves in the victory for no. 8 St. Charles East (8-1-0).



Nonconference

Benet 2, Kaneland 1

Cami Picha and Jaimee Cibulka each scored and had an assist for sixth-ranked Benet (6-0-0).
