Gabi DiMatteo scored the game-winner for the no. 16 Redwings (11-4-0). Keira Petrucelli contributed the assist, and keeper Shannon Clark earned the shutout. Benet finishes tournament play against Bolingbrook at 9 a.m. Saturday at Naperville Central.

Loyola 3, Warren 1
The 18th-ranked Blue Devils fell despite a goal from Ella Skelton (Kylie Mahoney assist) and seven saves from Trish Georgiou. Warren concludes pool play against Bartlett at 11 a.m. Saturday at Naperville North. No. 9 Loyola plays at no. 20 Geneva at 7 p.m. Friday




Glenbard Cup

Glenbard West 3, Glenbard South 2

The Hilltoppers opened the scoring against its neighborhood rival when Emmie Roberts finishing a well-placed ball by Sophia Brown to take a 1-0 lead. West doubled its lead on Kendall Walch's first goal of the season. The senior, who was just cleared to return after a lengthy injury rehab, deftly headed home a throw-in from Roberts. Glenbard South made it 2-1 at halftime with a goal from Lauren Price. The Hilltoppers concluded their scoring five minutes into the second half when Maeve Repking slotted home a pass from Gwen Johnson. A great individual effort from Price earned a brace and ended the scoring.



Nonconference

Wheaton Academy 3, Hope 0

Seanna Davis assisted on each goal for the Warriors (9-4-1). Jocelyn Royce, Emily Setran and Katelyn Schoepke were the goal-scoring recipients. Keeper Sara Swoboda  made one save for the shutout. Wheaton Academy will train up to its next match; it hosts Montini at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
