The Redwings, ranked fourth in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, posted another shutout and continued their excellent conference play. Benet was up 3-0 at halftime after scores from Sam Hepburn, Anthony Klos and Hans Haenicke. Assists on the goals came from Haenicke, Hepburn and Evan Frazier, respectively. The Redwings (7-1-0, 5-0-0) exploded after halftime with goals from Haenicke, Brendan Forsythe, Andy Nash, Owen McGarry and Nico Picha. Helpers came from Daniel Pepping, Preston Wray, John Kolb, Nash and Danny Boyle. The Redwings defense demonstrated its prowess once again -- Benet keeper Nolan Hart was not tested in 73 minutes of play. After a bit of a break,  Benet will look to extend its five-game win and six-game unbeaten streaks at no. 20 St. Patrick at 6:15 p.m. April 5.
