Nonconference

Deerfield 2, Grayslake North 2
Deerfield fell behind early to a well-placed shot from 30 yards and trailed 1-0 at halftime despite creating numerous chances. Samantha Linn tied the game with 13 minutes left when she finished a nice passing sequence from Chloe Cappas and Erin Rosenzweig. Five minutes later, the Warriors took the lead when Malori Killoren's pass sprung Chloe Cappas in behind the Knight defense, and the junior forward finished with her left foot to the far post. The host Knights tied the game less than a minute later on another long-range effort. Deerfield (1-0-1) pressed for a game-winning goal but ran out of time.
