Nonconference

Naperville Central 2, Belleville West 1
Sarah Scoles' score in the 56th-minute gave the 33rd-ranked Redhawks (3-0-0) the road win over no. 22 Belleville West. Scoles assisted on the game-tying goal after Maddie Mills knocked the ball home with 12 seconds left in the first half. Caroline Reedy and Caroline Gionnone assisted on the game-winner. Keepers Amber Hunter (0 goals, seven saves in second half) and Sophie Epebaum (1, 5, first half) were kept busy but kept a second Belleview West goal out of the net. Naperville Central meets Granite City at 11 a.m. Saturday in Belleville.

St. Charles East 5, West Aurora 1
The 43rd-ranked Fighting Saints (1-1-0) exploded for four second half goals to break open a 1-1 halftime tie. Scores from Hannah Miller, Elle McCaslin and a brace to cap the scoring from Renee Unterberg more than got the job done for St. Charles East. McCaslin, Jenna Sitta and Ashley DiOrio added assists.
