Nonconference

Highland Park 1, Warren 0
A day after tying no. 4 New Trier, the host Blue Devils (0-1-1) fell on a second half goal. Goalkeeper Alana Turner made two saves. Warren, ranked 49th in Chicagoland Soccer's state-wide First 50 preseson poll, resumes play against Wauconda on March 21.

Naperville Central 2, Burlington Central 1
A Sarah Scoles brace propelled the Redhawks (2-0-0) to another come-from-behind win. After trailing no. 25 Burlington Central on Isabella Hartmann's goal in the 10th minute, Scoles knotted the game off a Sullivan Schubal assist seven minutes later. The junior scored the game-winner in the 75th minute on Abbey Hillman's second assist of the season. Keepers Amber Hunter (second half, 8 saves, 0 goals) and Sophie Epelbaum (7, 1) were strong for the 33-ranked Redhawks, who head to Belleville, Ill., this weekend for a pair of games.

Wheaton Academy 8, Marist 2
Emma Goebel led the 50th-ranked Warriors with a brace. Wheaton Academy (2-0-0) will use the next week to prepare for its conference opener March 20 vs. IC Cathoic Prep.
