Aaron Taboada's second half goal off an Edwin Peralta helper was the difference as the Sabres leapfrogged Larkin to tie Glenbard East for fourth on the league table. Goalkeeper Jonathon Castillo made five saves for the shutout for the Sabres (7-8-3, 3-2-1). Streamwood meets South Elgin, which is tied for second with Bartlett behind league leader West Chicago, at 4:30 p.m. at home Wednesday.

Wheaton Academy 2, Lemont 2

The Warriors overcame a two-goal deficit to tie second-seeded Lemont. Logan Finnegan cut the deficit in half with a 51st-minute PK. Next, Allen Rodriguez laid the ball off to Finnegan in the 75th minute for his brace and the equalizing goal. Andrew Hoekstra had four saves in 80 minutes played.  Wheaton Academy (10-3-3), the undefeated champion of the Metro Suburban Conference Blue Division, plays at 6:30 p.m. at Metea Valley in its second match of the tournament.
