Valley Division

McHenry 0, Crystal Lake South 0 (McHenry wins PKs 3-2)


Crystal Lake South's Zach Schmidt and Nick Langdon converted shots for the Gators, and Spencer Traub made 5 saves for the shutout and stopped 1 PK. But the difference-maker in the match was McHenry keeper Jake King, who made 2 saves to earn the shutout and 3 stops in the shootout.

Crystal Lake South finishes its season at 3-2 in the conference (10-8-4 overall). McHenry improved to 2-2 in the league (13-2-2 overall). Crystal Lake South will share in a five-way tie for the Valley title if host McHenry beats Jacobs on Saturday.



Upstate Eight Conference
River Division

Streamwood 3, Larkin 1

Donna Sosa scored a goal and contributed an assist to pace the Sabres (9-6-4, 2-1-3). Aldo Lazaro and Rafa Gil added goals, and Aaron Villegas and Bryan Mora supplied helpers in the win.


Valley Division

Bartlett 6, East Aurora 1


The Hawks claimed the divison title behind a T.J. Ivkovich hat trick. A.J. Santori did his part with a goal and 2 assists. Oliver Saile and Venici Leone also scored, and Igor Zwada, Joey Mirsky and Tim Riordan registered assists for Bartlett (12-7-2, 4-0-1).

Nonconference

Wheaton Academy 4, Marmion 1
The no. 13 Warriors won their season finale behind goals from Ty Seager (2), Ethan Stoneman and Isaac Anthony. Wheaton Academy concluded the regular season at 16-3-1.
