Bucs Invitational
Bartlett lost 4-3 to Sterling in the championship game of the tournament. Igor Zwada had a goal and an assist, and Oliver Saile and Ryan Stratton added goals. T.J. Ivkovich and Bryan Recinos contributed assists and Jake Hasenstein made 4 saves.
In a pair of pool games the Hawks (11-7-2) beat tourney host Belvidere 3-0 and United (Moline) 3-1.
Against Belvidere, Ivkovich had 2 goals and Zwada 2 assists. Recinos chipped in with a goal and Rahul Vences an assist. Hasenstein got the shutout without needing to make a save. In the win against United, Zwada and Stratton scored and assisted each other. Tim Riordan scored the remaining goal off a Saile assist. Hasenstein had 4 saves in the win.



Nonconference

Hinsdale Central 7 Fenton 1

Edgar Astorga, Louis St. John, Bryan Loebig and Rigo Rojas led the no. 1 Red Devils to their ninth-straight win.
Astorga had 2 goals and an assist, St. John had a goal and 2 assists, Loebig had two goals and Rojas a goal and an assist for Hinsdale Central (15-1-1). Mikey Usher also contributed a goal and Jimmy Walker, Jake Semba and Mitch Collins assists.
St. John’s 2 assists moved his season total to 19 and passed Jack Smithson (17, 2004) for the top spot on the school's all–time list for assists in a season.
The Red Devils seek their 24th-consecutive conference win and continue their four-year run of conference championships against York at 10 a.m. at home Monday.  
 

St. Francis 1, Geneva 0
The Spartans, ranked 20th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, needed only a first half goal from Sean Conley (assist Timmy Pisarski) in the scoring column.
St. Francis goalkeeper Jonathan Burke made 8 saves in the team's 13th shutout of the year. The win completed an undefeated run for the Spartans against nine Class 3A opponents (5-0-4).
The Spartans (12-1-4) are on a 13-game unbeaten streak and have allowed only 5 goals this season.

The team is idle until its opening game in the Class 2A state tournament Oct. 20, when it hosts the winner of the Illinois Math and Science-Montini game.

Waukegan 3, Warren 1
A last-minute bid from host Warren to tie the game, Richie Flores' 20-yard shot, hit the crossbar, and the no. 15 Bulldogs quickly countered for their final goal of the afternoon. The eighth-ranked fell to 14-4-3 with the loss. 

Wheaton Academy 7, Ridgewood 0
Seniors Mitch VanderVeen (2 goals), Ty Seager (2) and Jacob Kapitaniuk scored on Senior Day. Quinn Partain, and Grayson Harris added goals in the win for the 14th-ranked Warriors (14-3-1). J.D. Gunn and Nathaniel Song split time in goal for the shutout.  
The Warriors host Batavia at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday.
