Glenbard North 2, St. Charles North 2

After St. Charles North started the scoring 15 mins into the game, Glenbard North's Raul Pasillas answered 5 minutes later off a great through-ball from Ode Emena. A 40th-minute goal gave St. Charles North the 2-1 halftime lead. The second half action was back and forth with both teams getting quality chances. With 1:20 left Chris Arroyo won a ball and played over the backline to a streaking Nathaniel Enriquez who calmly finished to give the Panthers the draw.  



Metro Suburban Conference Blue Division

Wheaton Academy 8, Ridgewood 1
The Warriors took the league title with an undefeated run. Logan Finnegan lead the way with a hat-trick and an assist on the evening. Sam Froslid added a great performance with a brace and an assist. Allen Rodriguez and Daniel Rychenkov scored in the second half along with Corbin Bates, who netted his first varsity goal. Kyle Holwerda, Jack Liechty, and Luke Froese all notched their first assists of the season in the second half. Goalkeepers Andrew Hoekstra (55 minutes, goal, 3 saves) and Cole Andrews (25 minutes, 1 save) shared the win. Next up for Wheaton Academy (9-3-2, 6-0) is Aurora Central at its Homecoming game Friday night.




West Suburban Conference Gold Division

Downers Grove South 7, Willowbrook 0

The Mustangs earned the league road win behind braces and one assist each from Jony Flores and Josh Venouziou. Enrique Gonzalez, Aaron Venouziou and Kenny Rosales added single tallies, and Stefano Espinsoa, Kyle Fenner and Aldair Pacheco added assists. Christopher Gory, Rosales and Tom Macas combined for the shutout.
