WARREN 1, Waukegan 1
Nick Boba's 29th-minute goal, off a Gericho Navarro assist, evened the match. Keeper Ethan Cole made six saves. "It’s always intense when Warren faces Waukegan, given the numerous close connections between the two teams," said Blue Devils coach Jason Ahonen. "Our players fought hard tonight, falling behind early but managing to equalize with a beautiful goal. Despite several more chances to score, we couldn’t convert, and Waukegan also had their opportunities. Ethan Cole made some crucial saves, and our defense held strong despite some pressure. We’re definitely feeling the effects of a tough week, but we’ll rest up and prepare for Sunday’s final at the BodyArmor."
