Glenbard North, 2, EISENHOWER 0
Kevin Rosas got the Panthers off to an early lead after finishing off a cross from Keith Thumutok in the 5th minute. Eisenhower needed three great saves to keep the game 1-0 heading into the half. WARREN 3, Fenton 1
The Blue Devils broke 1-1 deadlock with Charlie Crown and Christian Albarran goals in the final nine minutes. Quinn Lockwood scored the opener in the 10th minute, but a Fenton free kick delivered a 1-1 score at intermission Gericho Navarro and notched assists for Warren (5-3-1). Ethan Cole made seven saves in 78 minutes of work. "Our play this game wasn't the most aesthetically pleasing, but we secured the win," said coach Jason Ahonen. "Credit goes to Fenton for their relentless effort and creativity in the midfield. At times, we imitated their style rather than stickidng to our own, which affected us in the first half. However, I'm very pleased with how we approached our chances in the second half to clinch the victory."
