Giovanni Roman scored twice, Angel Rodriguez hit the scoring column and David Perez notched an assist as the fourth-ranked Mustangs topped no. 32 Young to start the season.

SOUTH ELGIN 4, McHenry 2
The Storm won their opener behind a score and two assists from Isaac Marquez. Matt Lipp, Eduardo Lopez and Momo Gonzalez contributed goals. Jack Schmidtke added a solo assist.  Next up is Plainfield Central on Thursday.
