STEVENSON 8, Zion-Benton 2
The Patriots (9-3-2, 3-1-1), who are ranked 20th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, rolled to the win on Senior Night. Arria Chavez, Ellie Egeland, Madi Kennedy, Ashley Liang, Iman Qazi, Chloe Robinson and Nicole Tchorz were honored for their contributions to the program. The scoring began with Egeland beating her defender and scoring on the turn. Then the all-stater crossed the ball to Kennedy, who finished for a 2-0 lead. Egeland scored her second, Madison Olsen netted a shot and Sami An put in two for a 6-0 halftime lead. Egeland finished the night with a hat-trick and assist, and Kennedy collected a brace. Tchorz, Emma Pop and Alexa Karagrannis recorded helpers. Stevenson continues conference play at 4:45 p.m. Thursday at Waukegan.

Warren 8, WAUKEGAN 0
All-stater Addson Stanciak recorded a hat-trick in the first nine minutes for the 22nd-ranked Blue Devils. The junior finished with four goals and two assists. Yasmin Lenzi added a goal and assist. Jelly Amezquita assisted the first goal and Jackie Amezquita helped with the last. Kate Mondejar, Sofia Ogren and Sophie Dolinar joined the scoring column. Elise Weidemann added an assist. Warren keepers Emma Megerle and Audrey Groth combined for the shutout. The Blue Devils (10-5-1, 3-1-1) continue in league play when they host Lake Forest on Thursday.


Upstate Eight Conference

SOUTH ELGIN 2, Elgin 0
The Storm took the home win behind Christina Slovik’s goal and assist. Ava Baker opened the scoring, and Nevaeh Gyurko assisted the insurance goal. Keeper Jersie Speidel made two saves for the clean-sheet. South Elgin (13-6-1, 6-0-1) travels to Bartlett for a key league match, with the Thunderhawk Cup on the line, on Thursday.
