Group A second round

Stevenson 4, GRAYSLAKE CENTRAL 2
Ellie Egeland recorded a brace and a helper in the win for the Patriots (4-2-1), who are ranked 20th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. Stevenson began the scoring when Egeland hit a ball from distance that bounced over the goalkeeper's head. She followed with a helper to Grace Harper. Then Abby Samson found the back of the net, assisted by Anabelle Egeland for a 3-1 halftime lead. The elder Egeland concluded the scoring after a long downfield carry. Stevenson's last group stage game is at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Lane.

Group B

Libertyville 5, ST. FRANCIS 0
Shea Krakowski tallied a brace, and Natalie Schmidt, Bella Yarc and Lilly Frantz scored one apiece to lead the no. 15 Wildcats.


Plainfield Classic

Group 2 second round at Glenbard East

Glenbard West 2, Morton 0
Ella Bennett scored a goal and recorded an assist to lead the Hilltoppers to their first win of the season. Lauren Escalante added a goal, and Ellie Beaudoin chipped in with an assist. Ava Callaway needed just one save for the clean-sheet.

 
Nonconference

Benet 7, Plainfield East 0
Ivana Vukas scored and created two assists in the win for Benet (4-2-1). Annie Fitzgerald and Eleanor Mahan produced a goal and an assist each. Chloe Sentman, Johnna Caliendo, Natalie Grover and Audrey Eiseman added goals. Rania Fikri and Caira Zupo each helped on a goal. Keeper Kate Grubish earned the shutout.
