in a match that was delayed a day due to cold and snowy weather, St. Charles East drew even in in the 56th-minute on a Giuseppe Avandano goal assisted by Logan Lewarchick. But New Trier retook the lead less than a minute later to earn the Final Four berth. The Fighting Saints ended the season with a 19-8-0 mark after capturing their third-straight DuKane Conference title and regional and sectional titles. New Trier (21-1-2) meets Central Suburban League South Division foe Glenbrook North (21-3-2) in the state semifinals at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
