The Redwings won their fifth-consecutive regional behind goals from  seniors Jason Riedl (unassisted in the second minute) and Nick Roe (PK, 22nd). Benet also benefitted from an own-goal (70th). Senior Drew Connell (73 minutes) and junior Patrick Stasch did not face a shot in the team's 14th shutout of the season. The Redwings (13-3-3), who are a no. 1 sub-sectional seed and ranked 25th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25, meet second-seeded Belvidere North (14-3-2) in a St. Francis Sectional semifinal at 6:30 p.m.

Senior forward Danny Becker led the way with a brace, and junior midfielder Kai Zavala added a single tally in the Raiders fifth-consecutive regional title. North Shore Country Day (14-5-1) advance to play top-seeded Cristo Rey St. Martin (15-5-2) in the title match at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
