Chicago Catholic League Blue Division

Fenwick 3, Mt. Carmel 3
The Friars picked up a solid point on the road against the 14th ranked team in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25. Fenwick earned the draw behind goals from Sammy Allaire, Ryan Agozo and Jack Kupiec. Ian Mackinnon contributed two helpers, and James Zimmer assisted the final Fenwick goal.

North Suburban Conference

Stevenson 2, Warren 0
The no. 6 Patriots scored twice in the final 7 minutes of the first half and held that advantage. Warren keeper Colton Holmes made four saves in the match. “It was a very fun match against a top-level opponent,” said Blue Devils coach Jason Ahonen. “I thought early in the match we probably played some of our best soccer of the year, but unfortunately right now we are unable to find the back of the net. Stevenson got that first goal off a corner which was tough for us, because we were doing so many things well. Then, right before half Stevenson beat us on the flank and played a beautiful cross for their second goal, which was a bit of a gut punch. But I was very impressed with the way the boys came out in the second half with their effort and desire.”

West Suburban Conference Gold Division

Morton 5, Hinsdale South 1
Jonathon Almaguer produced a hat-trick, and Caleb Mendoza and Carlos Tafoya each tallied once for the victorious second-ranked Mustangs.
