DuKane Conference

Glenbard North 0, Wheaton Warrenville South 0
Glenbard North took a point on the road in the conference-opener for both teams. Danny Noval made five saves to earn the clean-sheet. The Panthers nearly scored in the last 5 minutes by a great strike by senior Jorge Roman, but an outstanding save kept him out of the net. Midfielder Gabriel Castillo had a top-notch game for Glenbard North. The Panthers meet Proviso West in the fifth place match of the Joe Novy Classic against Proviso West at 11 a.m. Saturday at Addison Trail.

Streamwood 2. Conant 1
A dramatic A.J. Sabanovic goal with 59 seconds left propelled the Sabres into the championship match at 6 p.m. Saturday at Barrington. Jose Pena earned the game-winning assist. Sabanovic, off a Bryan Huerta assist, gave Streamwood (4-1-0) a 1-0 halftime lead. Host Conant evened the game on a PK. Streamwood keeper Issac Morales made five saves in the victory. The undefeated group winners meet no. 16 Glenbrook North for the trophy.

Benet 2, Oswego 0
The Redwings (2-1-1) remained unbeaten in pool play thanks to goals from Danny Sterba and Jason Riedl, and assists from Jack Wesley and Nick Nirtaut. Goalkeeper Drew Connell needed just one save to record his third-consecutive clean-sheet. Next up is Naperville North at 10 a.m. Saturday. The winner advances to the final that evening at 6.

The Storm (0-3-1)  its lone goal against the 12th-ranked, host Huskies on a Ryan Nguyen free kick.
