Benet 7, JOLIET CATHOLIC 0
Ivana Vukas scored twice in the win. Reese MacDonald and Annie Fitzgerald had a goal and an assist each. Lily McKenna, Ashley Donovan, and Rania Fikri also scored. Rachel Burns had two assists, and Johnna Caliendo added one. Shannon Clark and Kate Grubish combined for the shutout for the Redwings (7-1-0, 3-0-0), who are ranked 12th in the Chicagoland Soccer Top 25.


Plainfield Classic

Morton 4, EAST AURORA 0
Carisma Rosales led the way with a brace for the Mustangs, who finished second in Group II play with a 2-1-0 record. Morton was third in the wild card hunt for the fourth semifinal spot. Ariana Valdovinos and Brianna Avalos added solo goals. Aaliyah Leanos contributed two assists, and Fatima Garduza and Stephanie Salmeron delivered one apiece for the Mustangs (7-3-0).


Nonconference

Warren 1, GLENBROOK NORTH 1
The Blue Devils held the lead but couldn't hold off Glenbrook North. Addison Stanciak gave Warren (2-2-2) the halftime lead after an assist from Maya Martinek. Keeper Emma Megerle made six saves. "We are battered and beaten up," said coach Ryan McCabe "but are still showing lots of grit to get a positive result against a very high-quality Glenbrook North team. Really proud of the girls again tonight." Warren beat Carmel 2-1 Tuesday night. The Blue Devils get two days to train and recover before their debut in the Body Armor event vs. Kaneland on Saturday in Schaumburg.
