The Mustangs opened pool play with a strong  victory behind Carisma Rosales' goal and two assists, and Fatima Gardza's goal and assist. Aaliyah Leanos, Stephanie Salmeron and Ariana Valdovinos added goals, and Citlali Chavez and Adamary Huitron dished out assists.

Downers Grove South 4, Plainfield East 0
Emily Petring scored her second-consecutive hat-trick in the win. Teyani Sharkey added a goal Assists came from Ashley Molinari and Skylar Swanson. The Mustangs (4-2-0) recorded their third-straight shutout.

South Elgin 3, Jacobs 1
Ella Dihel's brace and Ellie Vidic corner kick goal provided the Storm offense. Adeline Kinsella and Nevaeh Gyurko delivered assists. Keeper Karissa Cruz made seven saves in the win. Next up for South Elgin (3-2-1, 2-0-1) is a nonconference game at Freeport on Monday (April 10).
