Keira Petrucelli, Anna Casmere and Gabby Hedden contributed assists. Keepers Shannon Clark and Kate Grubish combined for the clean-sheet. Counterpart Noelle Niekamp made eight saves for Wheaton Academy (0-1-0), which hosts Burlington Central at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The eighth-ranked Fighting Saints (1-0-0) roared back with three goals after a first half deficit to take the road win in their season-opener. After a 1-1 tie at the break, Ella Stehman (Georggia Desario assist) scored the game-winner, and Alli Saviano provided insurance with a PK for St. Charles East. Grace Williams (Lauren Silvestri) tied the game after no. 29 Fremd took the lead on a PK. Keeper Sidney Lazenby stopped 10 shots for the winners.
