Bergevin, Kenagy
to play in All-American game

Benet Academy forward Kyle Kenagy and Hinsdale Central goalkeeper Wes Bergevin have been selected to play in the fourth annual High School All-American Soccer Game on Dec. 14 in Raleigh, N.C.

Kenagy has scored 22 goals and collected seven assists for regional champion Benet Academy this season. Bergevin has been a cornerstone of a defensive group that has recorded 13 shutouts this season for the Hinsdale Central Regional titleists.

The event is associated with the  Gateway City Soccer Classic in St. Louis and is sponsored in part by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

Landon Paul, a forward from Edwardsville, is the final member of the Illinois contingent on the 21-man West squad.
